Urbanization and economic development are leading to a rapid rise in energy demand in urban areas leading to enhanced Green House Gas (GHG) emissions. The program aims at minimum 10% reduction in projected demand of conventional energy at the end of five years, which can be achieved through a combination of energy efficiency measures and enhancing supply from renewable energy sources.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-c5c4907 elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"c5c4907\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p>The solar city master plan of the city include the base line for energy consumption during the baseline year2015, demand forecasting for the next five years, sector-wise strategies and action plan for implementation of renewable energy projects like solar, wind, biomass, small hydro, waste to energy etc. may be installed along with possible energy efficiency measures depending on the need and resource availability in the Udaipur city, so as to mitigate the fossil fuel consumption in the city and reduce the Green House Gas (GHG) emissions.
