It provided low carbon technology alternatives for key energy-intensive sectors in India. But the assessment of these technologies at macro-economic level was not done. IRADe developed IRADe-LCSIG model to assess the impacts on growth rate, carbon emissions and energy and emission intensities of various low carbon measures. The results were reflected in the final report of the Expert Group.
