The assessment was done based on the information provided by the officials at Central Pollution Control Board, Delhi Pollution Control Committee, Municipal Corporation of Delhi and Okhla landfill site and observations made during site visits. Feasibility of the land fill gas (LFG) supply as domestic fuel to the surrounding areas by using the existing network of the Okhla Sewage Treatment Plant was assessed.
